The smartest thing I ever did was follow Dr. Batmanghelidg's water cure, which prescribes half your body weight in ounces of water. Along with the requisite amount of water,  one should use one quarter teaspoon of sea salt per quart of water.  Approximately nine years after the death of Dr. B,  JAMA and CDC research confirmed that even more salt was needed for optimal health - ONE TO THREE TEASPOONS PER DAY.

I feel it is utterly foolish and morally reprehensible for the medical establishment to advocate a low-salt diet. The contradiction is clear when we all know that the number one protocol in orthodox medicine is a saline IV.  A saline IV consists of one quart of water and one and one half tsps. of salt.
