pH
*Question: In the morning, my urine is 6.5 and
saliva is 5. Why is it so low? My main foods are organic poached or over easy
eggs, some non organic eggs, organic oat meal, fresh beans, peppers,
cauliflower, some organic spaghetti, squash, onions, Granny Smith apples,
bananas, kiwi, spinach, celery, baked white or red potatoes, some yams or sweet
potatoes, fresh green beans, pineapple, strawberries, blue berries, black
berries, asparagus, peaches, peas, peppers, sea salt, organic honey, and
sometimes non organic, organic sugar,
*Answer: If your urine is 6.5 don't worry. It depends on what you ate for
the saliva. The mouth saliva is only a true measurement of one's PH first thing
in the morning or just before going to bed providing you have not had anything
to eat in the last 5 or 6 hrs. If you were to drink some salt water (gargle It )
and then check your PH of your saliva it would check ok. If you PH is bad first
thing in the morning then you need to get up in the night and eat some alkaline
food like some kind of fruit. Even a little lemon with salt and water. Sugar in
the raw is neutral for PH. If you take some liquid chlorophyll (one ounce) in a
glass of water (7 ounces of water) and a little salt ,it would or should take
care of this problem. Jim Bolen
We don't even know how salt dissolves in water or how it
can get saltier and saltier. In Dr B's book, The ABC of Asthma, Allergies and
Lupus on page 31 is pH. The pH of the blood is very important. As you can read a
person can only live for a couple hours with a pH of the blood at 6.8 and also
if the blood pH is at 8.0. PH stands for potential hydrogen and hydrogen is
positive charged atom. If you will read pages 31,32 and 33 very slowly and use a
high-lighter you will see everything I was saying. Almost word for word. A quote
on the bottom of page 31 ABC book reads as follows. People who advertise and
sell pH-altering filters and tell their customers to drink strong alkaline water
should be cautious with their statements and advice. They can very easily hurt
their unsuspecting customers. Consumers who have such filters should not drink
alkaline water constantly. The body has many acid-buffering mechanisms that
regulate the acid/alkali balance of its inner environment. On page 33 and the
third paragraph it reads, Salt is also vital for the regulation of the
acid/alkali balance in the body, particularly for the brain cells. The element
sodium in salt is involved in the extraction of acid radicals from inside the
cells for secretion by the kidneys. Sodium is also involved in the formation of
bicarbonate soda in the mucus layer of the stomach that protects its cell lining
from the acid inside the stomach cavity. Sodium bicarbonate is also produced by
the pancreas and secreted into the first part of the intestine at the same
moment that the acid content of the stomach enters the intestine. Believe it or
not, low sodium (salt) in the diet can affect all of these functions.
Now if you will turn to page 144 in the same ABC of Asthma, Allergies & Lupus
book and read through page 150 you will see how important salt is to the human
body. Dr Batman tells us water and salt is more important then oxygen because if
we didn't have the water we would not be able to dissolve the oxygen and without
the salt we would not have the flow (osmatic) draw or balance of water inside
the cell to outside the cell. Sugar is another very important thing that most of
us need. Read page 125 third paragraph in the same book. Also read page 112-113.
Erik, please tell me what books of Dr Batman you have and I will gladly direct
you to the pages where Dr Batman makes his statements. There is so much to
understand and most of his books are written above the average persons head.
Remember that salt is Na Cl sodium chloride. Sodium is positive charge and the
chloride (chlorine) is negative charges. The stomach takes the chloride and
makes hydrochloric acid and the pancreas takes the sodium and makes a
bicarbonate to neutralize the acid after has done its job. If you were to drink
250 ml of plain water and then put a little salt (1/2 g) just shake some salt in
the palm of your hand and coat the end of your tongue and just leave it there
for a couple minutes and check your eye sight it will improve about 10%. It will
get brighter, sharper and clearer. When a person puts some salt on their tongue
it goes directly into the blood stream and changes the PH of the blood.
