Shortly after my husband and I moved to the desert in Tucson, Arizona in 1967, he began to complain of stomach pains. Of course we went to the doctor and he came up with the answer, Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I'm sure they gave him something to take, but it was almost 12 years ago and I don't remember what it was, but it did not help. He continued to complain to the doctor and after tests looking into his abdominal area and up his colon, finding nothing wrong he was told it was all in his head. To make a long story short, by the beginning of 1999 the pain reached a point where he was not eating, was losing weight, and went down to 112 pounds. The doctors, including specialists, came up with the same answer and they gave him anti-stress medicine.

Finally the pain got so bad my husband asked me to take him to the hospital. Knowing they would probably want to do an exploratory, which many people never come out of, I phoned a nutritionist friend of ours and he told me to give my husband 2 glasses of water within 20 minutes and if the pain persisted give him another glass. Hurrah! It worked and he didn't have to take the third glass. My husband, a terrible skeptic, became a believer. He knows if the slightest pain comes back he didn't drink enough water that day. Not only did it take the pain away, but also his heartburn.

I am telling family, friends and anyone I meet about the water cure and it has helped many of those I told.

Our doctor still says he has Irritable Bowel Syndrome though we told her about the water cure. Doctors are certainly brainwashed. The best part of this tale is that it was Dr. Batman's water cure book our friend has purchased after reading about it on the internet.

Unfortunately, all the time my husband was not eating he developed a severe case of anemia which led to giving him bone marrow shots to bring up his hemoglobin count. It is now about 8 months since he has been drinking water but it seems that his cells have paid a price for the 12 years of dehydration. I'm hoping with time the cells will be functioning normally. Thanks for listening.
